NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING FOR THE TOWN OF EXETER

 

NOTICE is hereby given that on Monday, November 17, 2025, 7:00 p.m. at the Exeter Town Hall, W2998 Highway 92 in Dayton, WI a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2026 Budget for the Town of Exeter will be held.  The proposed budget in detail is available upon request from Dawn Marie Sass, Town Clerk/Deputy Treasurer, at (608) 424-1697. NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

Of the Electors of the Town of Exeter, Green County

Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting of the Electors will be held in the Town Hall at W2998 Hwy 92, Belleville, WI on Monday, November 17, 2025 immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the Proposed 2026 Town Budget which begins at 7:00 p.m.  This Special Town Meeting of the electors called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1) (b) of Wis. Statutes by the town board for the following purposes:

1. To approve year 2026 Highway expenditures pursuant to sec. 81.01930 of Wis. Statutes.
2. To adopt the 2025 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2026 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1) (a) of Wis. Statutes.

NOTICE OF EXETER TOWN BOARD MEETING

Following the Special Town Meeting of the Electors notice is hereby given that the Town Board will meet for the purpose of adopting the final budget for the year 2026.
